· The customs valuation is based on the CIF value (Cost, Insurance and Freight) which means that the amount used to assess customs duty is the sum of cost of goods, insurance and all shipping costs to Lebanon (for more information about value to be declared please refer to useful customs forms)
· Declared CIF amount on Commercial Invoice may be subject to re-evaluation by Customs Authorities based on their records and their assessment of the value of the goods
· The standard rate of VAT imposed on imported goods into Lebanon is 10%

Goods originating from Arab League Member States
Lebanon is a Member State of the Arab League, accordingly goods originating from Arab League Member States will benefit from customs duties exemption
To benefit from Arab League customs exemption a Certificate of Origin is required (requirements of the certificate of origin please refer to section of Useful Customs Forms) this is a link that takes you to a another page which is the customs forms and I need it to be for members only
Standard VAT is applied on all goods originating from Arab League Member States
Goods originating from Euro Med Member States
Lebanon is a Member State of the Euro-Med, accordingly goods originating from Euro Med Member States will benefit from customs duties exemption or decrease
